He is Love

He is exactly the poem I wanted to write – Mary Oliver

a poet’s soul
a warrior’s heart
a survivor’s mind
and in all three
He is Love
of the indomitable kind

my hurricane
my peace,
in every way
life’s new lease

of my scattered pieces
the coalescence,
of my poetry
He is the essence
